21 years of first-hand experience in riding, grooming and natural horsemanship. Trained and schooled the horse of his own and competed in regional level classes in show jumping and dressage. Handled horses of all ages from a 3-month-old foal to +20-year-olds, helped train and school young horses and rehabilitate horses that have been mistreated or simply gone without exercise for several months.

Some experience in the basics of Western.

Worked as a personal riding instructor for a child and as a freelance instructor for children and adults alike whenever needed, including tourists. Previously worked at an equestrian centre (+20 horses) and a smaller riding school. In the UK worked at two big riding schools in London and Heckfield.

Specialities

English riding, dressage and show jumping especially with some cross country experience. Most experienced with ponies and small horses.

In 2019 I finished a tack manufacturing unit at Ypäjä Equine College in Finland. The course content is based on designing, making of and repairing various pieces of tack and other goods using both modern and traditional methods.

I do not make, reflock or fit saddles. Would prefer not to teach (other than tack and equipment).

Competed in 90cm show jumping classes, individual jumps of 120cm. Training, schooling and rehabilitation of horses of all ages and sizes.

Competition Details

Started competing at the age of 10 in dressage, soon after in (pony) show jumping as well up to regional level (90cm classes). Second place in local championships in 2006 (90cm). Also volunteered in competitions from local to national level at gate and in ring crew.
