Exercise rider/trainer, Young stock handler, Foal halter-training, General management (feeding, cleaning stables)
I have been riding nearly my whole life, and have owned my own horse for nearly 8 years. I used to compete often in eventing, show jumping and dressage, and then decided to turn my focus onto natural horsemanship for the past 3 years. I have worked on a Knabstrupper breeding farm in South Africa for a year with fantastic mentors where I gained knowledge in professional riding, equine cognitive abilities, natural behaviour and herd dynamics, as well as the overall state of a healthy horse. I have assisted in everything from trimming feet to backing preperation and even live covering. I am always happy to expand my knowledge and abilities and am not afraid to work hard.
I'm big into Natural Horsemanship, I use a little bit of the best from many different methods in order to work with the horse in a fair, respectful and safe manner. I am always open to learning. I am an empathetic rider and work well with nervous horses. I'm also very patient with young horses and especially good with foals, in halter-training and gaining confidence.
Flatwork/Dressage, Show-jumping, Hacking, Natural Horsemanship and Groundwork.
