I have been riding in the show jumping world since I was 8 years old (14 years). I have participated in Canadian Pony Club for approx 10 of those years and received my C2 riding level. I have competed in both hunters, jumpers and dressage for the majority of that time. I was a working student for a show jumping barn in Saskatoon, SK for 2 years and absolutely loved it! My duties included: tacking 10+ horses a day for the trainer/coach, daily cleaning duties (watering bowls, feed shed, tack room, etc.), riding horses, competing, braiding, bathing, clipping, trailering, grooming, wrapping, corking, feeding, administering basic medications, setting jumps, fixing fences, and arena maintenance.
Type of Ride Work
I mainly focus on the hunter/jumper competitions, but I also enjoy learning and schooling dressage.
I started competing many years ago in the low, 2'6" hunters and worked my way up in height and difficulty. I have competed in various hunter divisions, and jumper divisions ranging from 2'0"-3'6" on various horses. I have competed all throughout Saskatchewan and into Alberta as well.
