I tried doing the Animal Science Equine Major at Lakeland college in Vermillion, AB. I could not continue my education due to my program horse getting injured and struggling passing the written exams.

I have worked on my family farm since I was a kid. I have ridden since I was about three years old. When I was younger of course I rode the finished horses. When I was 12 I got my first green horse. We did not get along at the beginning but now we do. She is a skittish horse and we worked through those bumps. You could say she is a bit of a troubled horse. She still has her quirks but all you need to do is tell her who is boss. When I was 17 I got my first young horse. She had a few rides on her and I have put more on her since then. She is a pretty level headed horse and a quick learner. Very different from my other one. She is more lazy so you have to wake her up and be more aggressive to get her moving.

I grew up riding horses. I have been on both finished and green horses. At the moment I have a three year old I have been working with. I ride western since that is the style I grew up with. I do mostly ranch work with horses like chasing them from different pastures. I also rodeo my events are barrel racing and pole bending.

I have ridden problem horses such as ones who spook at almost everything. I have ridden green/young horses as well. I ride mostly cow horses. The closest I have ever been to starting a horse is when they have had maybe 10 rides.

At the college I was a part of the rodeo team. I have announced at some of the barrel jackpots. I have also worked the strip chute at a roping jackpot as well.
