Kilgraston School’s Equestrian Centre is looking for an Equestrian Manager to join the team to cover Maternity Leave. Kilgraston is the only school in Scotland with equestrian facilities onsite. The Riding Centre comprises of 14 stables, a tack room, a 40m x 60m all-weather floodlit arena, hacking track and a series of well fenced paddocks. This is a full-time position for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to take responsibility for the organisation and management of our centre.

We are seeking a reliable person to act as stable and maintenance hand on large horse farm with breeding component near Frederick, MD. Job duties include: general daily horse care: turning in/out, feeding, stalls, some grooming, assisting in keeping stables tidy. Must be proficient in safe operating and basic maintenance of various large tractors. Housing is on-site. Must be a self-starter, an independent worker, have strong organization skills, and be comfortable working with horses.
I have basic knowledge on grooming, saddling, walking and trotting.
I am currently a student, but I graduate from CEGEP in May. I currently work at a flower shop in Drummondville, Rose Drummond. My job is to prepare flowers, use the cash register, do the maintenance of the shop and do general costumer service.
I have done equine summer camps 3 times as a kid (8-9-10 years old) at the Caval d'Or stables in Drummondville. I have since only ridden 2-3 times, but horses are still a passion of mine. I learned how to groom and saddle horses during summer camp. It's been a while, but I would quickly get back into the habit, because I know the basics. As a kid, I learned only to trot, but I galloped last time that I rode.
I don't have any particular specialities.
I have not competed.
