I am working as a groom since I am 13 years old. I am now 27. Each year, I am learning something new and that's what I like from that job. I had my first hirse at 16 years old. Unfortunately, due to Covid, I had to sell my horses. So, I had horses for 9 years straight. I'm still riding the Oldenbourg of my coach.
My specialities is to be a groom. It's relaxing for me to work in the barn, and even when I am done my hours, if the work of the others are not done, I going forward to help them finish. My coach is 62 years old, so I am always available for her, specialy when she need to lift something heavy. I began to ride western when I was a teenager, but my strength is the dressage riding and I love it. I really want to get better and better in that discipline. But other discipline doesn't botter me.
I ususally do the warm-up and the dressage riding. For the other horses, when they need to be work more, I lunge them when the owners ask me. I prefer dressage work, but I can do trails work, cross-country and jump ( just need a little refresh).
I didn't do a lot of event as my horses wasn't event horses and the money wasn't there. But, on my last competion, i was in 5th place on 79 riders with my own horses.
