I haven’t yet completed any courses, but it is definitely something I plan to pursue in the future.

Stable Hand - General stable chores and paddock upkeep, grooming and tacking horses for barn owners, exercising horses, assisting reproductive technician with ultrasounds, inseminations, etc. and any miscellaneous tasks required around the property.

I’ve been in the equine industry since 2015 and have spent that time primarily at hunter/jumper riding facilities. I’ve been an assistant at a riding school and can manage multiple horses and riding students at once. I’ve also worked as a stablehand at a high-caliber barrel racing facility.

At my previous employment I worked and foals and stallions, through both semen collections and daily turn out. Before that I worked at a high stress riding school and managed multiple horse and rider pairings to make it on time for lessons.

I've ridden hunter jumper and show jumper horses, doing both flatwork and jumping. I've also worked with green horses and have exercised green-broke 3yos at my previous employer's.

I've competed at basic bronze level shows but I've worked with and ridden silver and gold level horses.
