Equine Work Experience
I have worked at a few show barns in the past, working as a groom/stable hand/assistant barn manager, i have been working at barns for 7 years. Only reason for leaving barns is because they unfortunately had to shut down because of financial issues.
Specialities
Experience working with foals, broodmares, yearlings, hot show horses, a bit of experience teaching beginner lessons. Turning out, feeding, mucking out, administering meds, wrapping, a good eye for lameness, clipping horses, i also have experience with home and show grooming!
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden anything from greens, putting the first rides on horses/backing them, riding top competition horses, bringing schoolies back into work, hot race horses, “problem” horses. i have an extremely solid flat foundation as well as a pretty good over fences. dabbled a bit in dressage and the the hunter/jumpers.
