Head Coach Barn Manager International Competition Groom Head Trainer

Equine Work Experience

With 20 years of horse experience, I’ve competed in both dressage up to the Grand Prix level and in the jumper ring up to 1.30 meters. I have managed high-performance horses for 8 years, ensuring their training and well-being at the highest level. I’ve had the privilege of working closely with and learning from 2x Canadian Olympians, gaining invaluable insights into elite competition. My experience spans a wide range of horses, from foals and stallions to young horses, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of equine development and training.

Specialities

I specialize in attention to detail in high-performance horses and their turnout. I manage all aspects of their care, including scheduling with vets, farriers, and specialists, ensuring optimal preparation for competition. I create personalized training programs for each horse to help them achieve their full potential, with a strong focus on their well-being and overall health. My approach combines precision, care, and strategic planning for peak performance.

Type of Ride Work

I have ridden and trained horses as young as 3 years old and had the privilege of learning from international-level Grand Prix horses. With experience schooling and enhancing jumper performance, I’ve competed in the hunter, jumper, and eventing rings. These diverse disciplines have shaped my equestrian journey, ultimately leading me to discover my true passion for dressage, where I continue to focus my energy and refine my skills.

Competition Details

I’ve competed internationally from Junior to Grand Prix levels. I've trained, groomed and managed under 2x Canadian Olympian Jacquie Brooks, Jill Henselwood, and Leslie Reid to name a few. I've represented Canada at the NAYC twice, and have competed at top venues like Wellington, Devon, and New York and around Canada. Additionally, I’ve developed horses from the ground up to the Grand Prix level with great success in the show ring.
