I am currently working as a wrangler or trail guide at a ranch on the coast of Nicaragua. My main training is in show jumping.
Equine Work Experience
My equine experience is primarily in a show jumping background, both jumpers and hunter jumpers. I trained 4 year old sale connemaras how to jump for many years, then went on to compete on my own thoroughbred in the higher classes. I have also worked in both Canada and Nicaragua as a wrangler or trail guide, taking tourists on guided tours based on different experience levels.
My specialties are in English riding and trail guiding. I have a very outgoing, bubbly personality and am eager to work either alone or in a team. I speak both English and Spanish.
Type of Ride Work
I have trained young Connemara ponies to jump, with extensive competition experience for sales. I then moved up into higher classes with my own 17hh thoroughbred. Following the sale of my horse, I sought a job as a wrangler guiding horse back tours. I have been a guide in both Canada and Nicaragua.
I have extensive experience showing young Connemaras in low level jumpers, as well as years of higher height classes with multiple large thoroughbreds. All classes were hunter jumper or jumpers.
