Equine Work Experience
I grew up in Pony Club where I completed some of my levels and owned my own horse until highschool. After highschool I was the horsemanship director at a ranch camp where my duties included leading a team of up to 5 staff, Caring for 25-30 horses over the spring and summer months, making sure they are sound and healthy. Caring for all of their dietary needs and distributing any medications that were required. During my time there I was teaching groups of up to 25 students in riding skills and horsemanship skills. I also worked at a therapeutic riding facility where my duties included feeding, caring for 15 horses, dealing with turnout and turn in, handling medication and special dietary needs as well and also tacking up and untacking for the lessons. I currently work at Kleider Veterinary Clinic where my duties are to care for the resident horses and maintain clinic cleanliness.
I am a very outgoing person who is a hard worker and is very self motivated. I have over 10 years of horse experience. I love being physically active and am able to do many hard jobs that require lots of strength and endurance. I love new challenges and pick up on new skills very quickly
