Equine Work Experience
I have a diverse skill set, I am a B level Pony Clubber. From Pony Club I have learned how to create a proper conditioning plan for numerous horses, plenty of veterinary skills, different leg wraps, different bits and what they do for specific mouths, the full musculoskeletal system, horse nutrition, and much more.
I also have past experience working for opportunities at other barns. I have worked with a lot of different horses, e.g. stallions, hunter ponies, rehabilitating horses, OTTBs, school masters and foals.
I’m confident in the training pyramid, any exercises I use on a horse is always for a reason and I always know how it will affect them, I have a lot of experience with treating injuries, creating conditioning plans, long lining, parallel longeing, regular longeing, bit fitting & the pressure points each bit creates, different tack and why it’s used, supplements, medication, different grooming patterns, effective stall cleaning, feeding & poisonous plants, etc.
Specialities
Worked with foals, stallions, lead teams of kids over the years of Pony Club, Groomed at shows / use proper grooming techniques, re-trained & started OTTBS, memorized cool out procedures for eventing (Pony club), know a very large amount on equine nutrition and the anatomy of horses, created sale ads/videos, partnered with a brand/sponsorship, know how to do shipping bandages, standing wraps, figure 8 wrap, spider bandage, pressure wrap, poultice & sweat wrap. Treated cuts without assistance.
Type of Ride Work

George horses, Stallions, Preliminary event horses, high level jumping horses, hunter derby horses, western pleasure horses, to OTTBs, freshly backed horses, ponies, green horses, rehabbing horses, horses with behavioural issues or underlying issues, owned a horse with shivers.
