Picking orders and making plates for pad printing room. Responsible for 7 people in the department to keep work for them.
Gary Marks Racing, Rock Mountain Turf Club, Lethbridge AB Groom. Feb 2019- June 2019 Responsible for the daily care of up to 22 head of horses. I was to assist in medical care, farrier, dentist, and other medical procedures. Every day I was responsible for feeding early morning, afternoon and evening along with any prerace procedures to be done throughout the day. Maintenace of keeping tack, water/feed buckets clean. Keep stock of feed left and inform trainer if any feed is needed. Safely put horses and take off of hot walker daily and help tack up for morning rides. Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association Volunteer. Dec 2017- Jan 2020 Bring in therapeutic horses for lessons during the week and in some evenings. Isleifson Equestrian, Medicine Hat AB Volunteer/Student. 2014-2015. Care for sport horses and prepare for competitions. Tack up horses in lesson program and hand off to trainer and switch off horses throughout the day. Groom and hose off once done training.
I've mostly ridden hunters/jumpers and western pleasure. I have been successfully competing for the last 9 years with bigger rated shows like Spruce Meadows and Rocky Mountain Show Jumping being the main focus.
