I have approximately 10 years of English riding and have worked with horses of a variety ages. During this time I have competed in various disciplines (jumper, hunter, hunter derby’s, medals) at multiple horse shows, including, RMSJ, Royal West, Spruce Meadows, Thunderbird Show Park, Pacific Equine Sport, Amberle Meadows and Paramount. This has helped me gain extensive experience in pre- and post-jump horse care (including but not limited to poultice wraps, standing wraps, application of ice boots, cold hosing, application of heated blankets, etc)

Competition groom - Performed show groom duties at multiple Rocky Mountain Show Jumping (“RMSJ”) horse shows and Royal West. Responsibilities included: feeding of horses, general grooming and washing; hand walking of horses; tacking up and untacking of horses before and after classes; cleaning of stalls; cleaning of tack; organization of the tack stall; and, administering of therapy blanket and red-light therapy where required.
