I have training up to rider level three in the international riding academy

I have had various previous barn hand and trail guide jobs that involved feeding, grooming, turning in/out and minor veterinary care of horses, as well as more job specific duties

I have sixteen years of horse experience, my basis of training being in classical dressage, which I spent ten years riding competitively. The last six years have been spent riding western with a focus on mountain hacking and cowboy racing.

I have worked at trail ride facilities with 50+ horses, in which I brushed, saddled and watered up to ten horses in an hour. I have lots of experience with young horses and breeds that are considered more high strung, have taken care of mares in foal, as well as lead a team of trail guides responsible for 50+ horses. Riding in the mountains have given me an interesting perspective and experience when it comes to the relationship between horse and handler

I do mostly flatwork, with a background in dressage and now a focus on training and riding western horses. I have worked with and ridden young horses, including a three year old Percheron, a head shy rescue horse, and many green broke horses.
