Currently managing a small horse farm with all daily chores, riding, care and training.
I have over 20 years of riding experience in a variety of disciplines including dressage, show jumping, hunter, polo and western. I have owned horses for 17 years. I have worked with stallions, bred a few of my own mares, raised foals, halter broke, and ground worked them.
I started in a dressage barn at 6 and rode dressage for 4 years. Started jumping at 10 and was actively involved in pony club for a number of years competing in show jumping, dressage, hunters and cross country. I started working for the Calgary Polo club at 14, exercising horses around the track, and working 1-on-1 with some "problem" horses. I also groomed for polo games. I have ridden western on and off including working cows and reining.
Competed younger, but haven't lately because I have been focusing on school. I want to get back into competing and grow my competition career. I was always in the ribbons younger and often in the top three. I am calm and focused under pressure.
