Veterinary Medicine (UDESC). Master’s degree in Animal Biotechnology (FMVZ-UNESP) focused on Andrology and Reproduction. Training in Lusitano breeding at Alter Real. Internships in bovine and equine reproduction (Uruguay and Brazil). Course in reining. Advanced laboratory skills in semen evaluation, motility, morphology and processing.

Veterinarian with hands-on experience in equine reproduction. Duties: daily handling of mares, foals, stallions and young stock, foaling supervision, basic vet care, semen lab work, mare monitoring and routine stable management.

Current experience in an Equine Reproduction Center working with mares and foals. Professional handling of stallions, young stock and neonates. Practical training in Lusitano breeding at Alter Real (Portugal). Internship in Uruguay with reproduction. Exchange at University of Évora with on-farm equine work. Experience in ultrasound assistance, semen evaluation, foaling monitoring, behaviour, groundwork and stud-farm routines.

Strong skills with foals, neonates and young horses. Confident handling of stallions for collection and exams. Full broodmare care (pregnant, lactating and reproductive mares). Experience with PSL, BH, Quarter Horse and Crioulo. Skilled in sensitive horsemanship, groundwork and young-stock training. Able to lead routines and work independently during busy breeding seasons.

Training in Western reining and basic riding. Confident with groundwork, trust-building and schooling young horses at a light level. My main focus is handling and reproduction, but I ride calmly and safely for basic exercise and early training when needed.

I have not competed, as my focus is veterinary work and reproduction. However, I have worked with high-quality horses, including Lusitanos, polo ponies and sport breeds, in professional breeding environments, supporting foalings, young-stock development and stud routines.
