I am a 20 year USEF/USHJA professional with a long resume of training riders and horses from the most beginner local level to showing at the biggest A shows and taking clients to Florida and qualifying for indoors. I’ve done everything from breaking untouched 10 year old horses for pleasure to training winners of state medal finals and ribbon winners at USEF pony finals and Indoors. A mature and reliable individual with transferrable skills and a varied work experience, seeks a temp role to complete Ride Safe & general riding. Opportunity to ride out/develop in-hand work welomed. Home counties preferred.
Eager rider and former horse owner looking for work in the Southeast Florida area/ West Palm. I have been around horses my entire childhood and am looking to gain experience in the equine industry now that I am older. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.
As a veterinary medicine student, my qualifications in the equine area are still a little out of practice, but I know that with the knowledge I have, I can do a good service. Furthermore, I am very determined to learn a lot more by working with horses. I’m looking forward to learn the many skills I will be needing to improve my experiences with horses, and I hope to have opportunities to put them into practice. Also, I'm an outgoing person, who loves to meet new people.
iMy experiences with horses began when I was 11 years old, when I was given my very first horse. At first, there was nobody who could teach me how to ride, so I consider myself a self-taught rider. In 2013, I had classes so I could improve my riding skills, and in the past 4 months, I’m having Laço Comprido (a Brazilian sport) and Ranch Sorting classes.
I also have some experiences in equine medicine, because I did internships and courses in this area during my time in university. If there is any opportunity during the job, I could use my knowledge and learn even more.
I have knowledge in equine management, which includes hygiene, nutricion and, mainly, exercises. I believe that each animal has its individual needs, and it would be an honor to be able to take care of each one, as they deserve.
As I mencioned above, I practice Ranch Sorting and Laço Comprido, although I’m still learning. Laço Comprido is very similar to Team Roping, but is performed by just one person. I’m hoping to learn new sports, among the many that exist, and maybe master some of them.
Not long ago I discovered Ranch Sorting, the sport I am now very passionate about, so I haven’t had many chances to compete yet. The times I competed, I did well, but not enough to get on the podium, but I will keep training with this goal.
