A tricky situation made us leave South Africa for a while . We were game rangers in the wild bush, taking guests on game drive to see the big 5 and others . We had to leave. Horse have been my passion and we are looking at working around them.
I have been ridding for about 15 years . Mostly Showjumping and touched a bit of Eventing . Originally from Belgium I got my 1st degree in horse riding .I'm not too sure what is the equivalent in the UK for that specific certificate. I used to work tall and powerfull horses. I have given a few lessons to kids on their ponies during summer camps. From the time I arrived in South Africa, I stopped competing and found myself liking the Ethological way of riding . Nevertheless I was asked a few times to handle completly wild horses and getting them used to be handled. I have been riding freshly backed horses too, and teaching them the basics flat work .
Now, having to move back to Europe, I have started to work horses again.
Good people skills due to the nature of my previous work. Hard working and always willing to improve . Not worried about physical work
Flat work - lounging - Jumping
I've only been competing in the 100-110cm
