Horses are prey animals that instinctively look for leadership and safety. Leadership is established in a firm but fair way. Encouraging the horses to look for the release. Each horse is different, requiring a different approach. The final result is a safe; responsive horse on the ground and in the saddle. My specialties are: Pre start training, young horse riding, float training, hoof/ leg handling, problem horses ( eg bucking; spooking; rearing; stopping at jumps, water obstacles.
Flat work, pole work, basic jump training, bush riding, dressage training- establishing rhythm and relaxation in all gaits in preparation for and including lateral work and lead changes.
Current member of Gidgegannup Dressage club. Competed and Prep, prelim, novice - offical dressage competitions. Currently training at Novice / elementary level.
