I carried out my certificate 2 in stable hand while I was attending school, I successfully completed it but the company I went through lost my work so I haven't received my certificate =.

I have worked at a harness racing stable (4 years), a breeding farm (6 weeks) and have been around horses my whole life. Feed, muck out, catch stables+paddock, rug+un-rug, brush, clean feet, tack+un-tack, work jog+fast work, swim horses, wash, put on+off walker, put on+off treadmill, wrap legs bandages+ice+poultice, assist vet+farrier, load+un-load float, tend to horses at races+trials, administer medication, lead from 1 to 4 horses off motorbike, pre-race prep (shampoo wash, scrape, towel dry, brush mane+tail, braid forelock, clean+paint feet, shave brand+bridle path, clean nose+ears), tend to some injures, identify lameness+injury, post race (un-tack fast, drink, wash, scrape, towel dry, cool down walk), attend post-race swab, aid vets in flushes, embryo transplant, scans, foal checks, stallion collection.

I am a very hard working person I always utilise my time so I could put in maximum effort into whatever I was doing, I always tried my hardest to muck out the stables to the best of my ability or as best I could in the time I had. I always put the horses first, their health and safety was key. I work well in a team or by myself, I am more than capable and confident in working by myself if I know what I am doing. I am confident in my handling skills, with mares, stallions and foals of all ages.

I have owned and ridden horses from a young age, i've ridden experienced horses, off the track thoroughbreds, ponies. I have had lessons in flatwork and jumping, I intended on pursuing showjumping after I finished high school. I have competed in low level dressage, as well as competing in horsemanship challenges on mine and other peoples horses multiple times winning one year on my own horse. I currently own 3 horses, a thoroughbred, thoroughbred cross stock horse and standardbred.

I have competed in school dressage on my friends horses, highest placing was 5th. During high school I competed 2 years in a row at a horsemanship challenge, the first year on my friends horse and the second year on my own horse which I won. I volunteered at my local 3 day event, I worked at a harness racing stable where I tended to race horses, I also helped my friends at shows.
