I have completed my pony club exams in England

Exercising Event Horses and Race Horses

I have worked on a horse racing yard for 6 months in England where I was exercising race horses on the gallops and mucking out the stables on the yard as well as feeding and handling the horses.

I have worked on a busy eventing yard for a year where I had to exercise horses of all ages and experience. I schooled green youngsters, getting them used to all three disciplines and dealing with their inexperience in a patient and professional manner. I also worked with the more experienced horses and maintained their fitness as well as keeping them fresh for competition.

I have also worked on a hunting yard for two seasons where I had to clean tack, clean and plait the horses as well as mucking out and cleaning the yard.

I have been riding and handling horses all my life. I have worked on horse racing yards in England as well as eventing and hunting yards. Whilst owning and competing a horse myself, I have a lot of experience working in competition yards, exercising competition horses, getting horses fit and riding youngsters. I also take immense pride in keeping the area that I work in tidy. I keep the stables that I work in clean and thoroughly muck out daily. I also hunt with the Belvoir Hunt in England.

I have competed horses in eventing, dressage, show jumping, showing and hunting. I have worked with youngsters, schooling them for dressage as well as showing jumping and cross country. I have worked with horses who have had problems such as refusing at fences or refusing to go on horse lorries or have had issues getting sound after injuries.

I have competed in Pony Club eventing, show jumping and dressage and NSEA show jumping and British Eventing where I have been placed continually in the top 10.
