Duties of Current Occupation
I've previously worked as a groom, with expertise in natural horsemanship, sole-charge, grooming, excersising and working with children. I've held managerial duties in hospitality and admin roles. Extensive customer service experience.
Equine Work Experience
From 2005-2009 I help a 'working pupil' position at a natural horsemanship centre, in which I assisted on a part-time basis with lessons for both adults and children, working with green horses and also horses which were being retrained. From 2010-2011, I was employed as a groom for a private yard in the UK. This experience was instrumental in developing my skills as both a rider and groom. Having sole-charge daily of 2 horses and 2 ponies (and 2 dogs), I was responsible for feeding, rugging, excersising and assisting with the rehabilitation of a mare whom was recovering from a tendon injury. This role required of me to liase with veternarians and other professionals, as well as riding with children (10-11), and preparing horses for shows.
I possess extensive experience in providing great customer service, through roles in hospitality and administration. I'm proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office, have effective communication skills, including a great phone manner, and am adept at taking initiative when needed - along with easily taking direction. I have worked with educating local communities on animal welfare and conservation issues, and worked with a range of domestic and wild animals.

I am proficient in ground work, along with flat schooling and some dressage and jumping.
I have competed in showing classes as a teenager.
I consider myself to be highly capable at hacking out and trail riding, in a variety of environments, alone or in a group.
