I have achieved my D, D*, C, and K certificates through Pony Club and am currently working on my B. These certificates demonstrate extensive knowledge of horsemanship and general knowledge in all aspects of horses from first aid, training, horse psychology, care, nutrition, management, safety, skill, riding ability, and competition.

I will be 18 next month and have been riding since I was 7. My parents breed and train Arabians and I have been involved with all types of riding. I have owned 6 horses myself and I have broken in and trained 4 of these and the other 2 were bought green broken. While some of these have moved on to be trusted children’s ponies for other families, others I have educated enough to compete in high-level endurance, eventing, show jumping, stockman challenges, and dressage events. I took them on to qualify and compete as part of the Pony Club zone team at State Championships for show jumping, games, dressage pairs, musical ride (drill), and ride to time on many occasions and have made the state team for Nationals on one occasion as well as winning the State Championship of “ride to time” on my newly broken Irish Sport Horse in 2022 on only her second competition. I am often paid to ride and educate other people's horses whether that is to train them out of bad habits or educate them for sale

My specialties include working with/educating young horses, grooming, working and competing in eventing and showjumping, and working with racehorse yearling preparation for sales, foals, mares, fillies/colts, and foals. I am a friendly, dedicated, and hardworking individual with a desire to learn new skills, and always willing to work to the highest standards without taking shortcuts. I have experience working within a large team stepping up to lead when needed as well as working alone happily

I have ridden and competed in eventing, showjumping, dressage, endurance, games, ride to time, stock handling, and stockman’s challenge (obstacles) to a high-level qualifying and placing in many state and national competitions through Pony Club Australia. All of these achievements have been on my own horses that I have either broken in myself or educated myself from a young/green horse over the years.

While I have not formally worked in any competition yards, I am looking for any experience I can get and am very keen, hardworking, and eager to learn new skills. However, I have been competing and grooming for myself and friends for as long as I have been able for dressage, eventing, showing, and showjumping competitions to name a few. I have always been involved with organizing and running local horse events helping out with course set up, working bees, pack up, and on show day.
