I am currently working to become a qualified coach with Equestrian Australia.
Groundwork, flat work, long reining, lunging, schooling, jumping and hacking.
I have been riding since 2002, owned my own horses since 2004 and have been training horses since 2009. I am highly confident handling horses of all ages, breeds and temperments. My areas of experience are:
Show Jumping, Dressage, Eventing, Trekking, Re-Breaking, Problem Horses, Jousting, Yabusame (Traditional Horseback Archery), Flatwork, First Aid, Stable Management, Stunt riding for film, Sole Charge, Coaching, Ground work, Mounted Games and Natural Horsemanship.
I specialize in working with dangerous/problem horses across all breeds and disciplines, and re-breaking horses that have had a rough start in their lives who are deemed unsafe or dangerous by their owners. I have been doing this for 6 years.
I currently do not have my own horse, but I am regularly riding a 7 year old Clydesdale gelding. Currently I am doing a lot of fitness work with him including trail riding, and introducing him to horseback archery .
I will ride across every discipline excluding flat racing, steeplechasing, polo and reining as my knowledge is very minimal, however I am extremely keen to learn as much as possible about these disciplines and will not turn down the opportunity to do so. I am also skilled with ground work such as long reining, lunging and handling of both young horses and studs.
