Equine Work Experience
I started riding since the age of nine. I've been doing Endurance since 2014, as a QLD junior rider. By the end of 2014 I competed in the QLD State Chapmionships (160km), and again in 2016.
We do the rides more for completion, rather than competition.
I Trained my own TB horse dressage, began competing on low levels, and never walked out without a ribbon. I stopped dressage when I started working many hours in hospitality.
I have brought young people into the equine industry by starting them with my own horses, teaching them off and under saddle training. I also use horses to build peoples confidence, whether its confidence for horses or personal.
I work at an Endurance Stud, particularly training Arabians. I educate young horses before I go to my full time work, and ready them for their buyers, and others I'll ride to get fit for endurance.
I train using a lot of natural horsemanship and off saddle work.
Understanding of a horse; I try and read off each horse, and train to what's more suited to their understanding.
I can work well both in a team, or independently.
I have high energy, and a lot of passion for horses, as well as a lot of patience.
I am extremely willing to learn and try new things, and I'm very open to new opinions.
