Duties of Current Occupation
I am responsible for the issuance of all equipment, instrumentation, machinery, spares and vital material that are required for construction of the Icthys LNG Plant and facilities.
Equine Work Experience
The lady who owned the property where i agisted my horse is a vet so i had a lot of exposure to treating horses with a variety of injuries, also carrying out procedures such as AI, ultrasound, joint flushing on foals, vaccinating, worming, farrier and dental work. I have handled unbroken foals and yearlings, ridden and started training green broken horses. I have handled stallions, foals, mares, geldings, racing thoroughbreds. I have also volunteered alot of my time for the Riding for the Disabled facility in Darwin, exercising, tacking up, grooming, lead lining and a range of other activities.
I am very confident around almost any horse of any experience and age. I began to ride when i was very young, but started competing in Western Pleasure when i was 13 and finished competing when I was 18. I have taught lessons for children and adults in western pleasure. Ive agisted my horse at a stable where the owner rode dressage so in exchange for me helping out around the yards, i would get lessons in Dressage. I competed for almost 2 years in dressage but have now retired my horse.
Type of Ride Work
I have competed in western pleasure and dressage. I have done jumping, trail riding and beach riding.
My events with the NORTHERN TERRITORY QUARTER HORSE ASSOCIATION, competing in Western Pleasure, spread over Jul 2009 to Oct 2003 and do not fit in the allocated space.
The Darwin Dressage club will have my tests and results for my dressage.
