Riding: show jumping, dressage, cross-country, hunting. Grooming, mucking out, feed ups, lunging, wound-care, bandaging, turning out: everything to keep the farm running and the horses happy!
I have been riding horses since I was five. I started competing when I was 16 and have done this for two years in both show jumping and dressage. After that I went to college and started training horses for the hunt. This included jumping (mainly cross-country), dressage and a lot of trail rides. I have also worked for a breeder where I trained his young horses in the arena.
I have always taken care of horses; mucking out stables, feeding and turning out, fixing fences, etc. I know having a stable is a lot of (hard) work!
I am currently working at a stud to train and compete young horses in all olympic disciplines. As I would like to apply for a second year visa I am now looking for a job that qualifies for that. I am able to start mid-may.
In the past I have competed in both dressage and show jumping. After that I trained Irish horses for the hunt.
Jumping, dressage, trail rides. Also an expert in mucking out stables!
