Hi there! I’m a hardworking girl now looking for a 88 days position. I’m a quick learner who takes on every new task with a positive mindset. I currently work in the racing industry and have had my own horses since early teenage.Documents
Equine Work Experience
Started at riding school when I was five. Got my first own pony at the age of eleven and was in the stable more or less everyday from then until I moved to Australia as an 18 year old.
Have trained horses for others as well as had my own ones. Have competed up to 1 m showjumping and novice level dressage. Trained cross country occasionally in my teenage.
For the past 4 months I’ve been working at Randwick racecourse as a stable hand. Have gained valuable experience there with the everyday handling and management of racehorses.
My duties there have included regular stable chores such as mucking out, ensuring the horses have water and hay, saddling horses, working them on the treadmill, vet assistance, swimming them and attending races and trials as a strapper.
I’ve handled colts and horses from the age of two there. During my employment I’ve developed a keen eye for detail when it comes to horse care and a strong work ethic.
