Duties of Current Occupation

15 years experience producing young horses in Ireland for Eventing and Hunting. Experience as a groom with high level of turn out and working for an equestrian center.

Equine Work Experience

Riding since the age of 5, with over 10 years experience working with young horses on family yard. I've worked 2 summers while in college for Clonshire Equestrian center riding out livery horses. Also groomed for an international event rider for 3 event seasons at the weekends. Teaching kids for the Irish Pony club for 6 years at rallies and camps. Experience competing with Eventing Ireland and Showjumping Ireland for 10 years.

Specialities

I have worked with young horses for 10 years, breaking them in and training them on the family yard. Started working with broodmares and foals for the last 2 years. Worked in an equestrian centre riding out livery horses and young horses. Also groomed for an international event rider with a high standard of turn out. I've worked for the last three years as an engineer in Ireland. Currently on a working holiday visa here in Australia and looking to get back into Eventing.

Type of Ride Work

I've worked with Irish Draughts, Irish Sport horses, Warmbloods, ponies and Thoroughbreds. Worked with all of these on the flat, showjumping, hunting (over walls, ditches, banks) and cross country. I've worked with plenty of green and tricky horses over the years, especially enjoy schooling young horses out cross country and seeing there growth and confidence build.
