I have been riding for years and worked as a groom for a high performance stable in Australia

I have been riding almost everyday since I was 8 years old. I have only every ridden showjumping, however I do love to do basic flat riding, pole work and general horse exercise. I was once told I am a "flatwork rider who jumps" as I put a lot of effort into my flatwork riding which shows in my showjumping. I have mainly ridden warmbloods and have jumped to 1.20m in Australia. I don't have experience in the European horse landscape, however, I am a fast and enthusiastic learner and I am always very willing to learn new techniques and ways to work with horses. As I have been riding and around horses for most of my life, I am very horse smart on the ground and have great feel on the horse. I am not super confident around Stallions as I have not had much experience around them but I am keen to learn how to handle and work with them.

Worked with high performance horses and have a high attention to detail when cleaning, mucking out and saddling horses. I love things to be neat and organised and horses to always be looking their best! I am also super in a team environment and work collaboratively either others to achieve the best outcome.

I have been competing and training showjumping for 10 years, but I have also had experience training dressage. Overall, I am best at showjumping and Flatwork.

I have worked in competition yards in australia for a few years and have loved it. They have been small scale yards (10-15 horses) however, on occasions I would manage this by myself. I have also worked as a completion groom for 5 horses by myself. I do want to acknowledge that Australian shows and stables aren't as large and competitive as European ones, however, I am extremely adaptable and work very well in high pressure environments.
