Our wranglers take out guided trail rides, team pen and do cattle drives. They sit with the guests for each meal and interact with the guests all week. Light maintenance duties includes trail maintenance, weed-eating, saddle cleaning, fence repair, stall duties and guest activities. We need WEEKEND barn help (usually about 2 hours each day) for stall and barn work. Random weekdays would be beneficial (when manager is on vacation or at a horse show). Farm maintenance person required for 90 acre equestrian farm in the Surrey Hills. Required to do all paddock/field/yard maintenance. All necessary equipment supplied. Experience with sheep and horses would be very helpful.
Minimum 3 years experience including traveling with horses to shows, sole responsibility for up to 8 horses, 4 horses at shows. Must have extremely high turnout standards, experience running a yard and managing the day to day care of multiple horses and ponies. HT licence required and able to drive a horsebox. References required. Position in live-in and responsibility for managing property when owners are absent. Must be able to school on the flat and must have had dressage training.
Searching for Head riding instructor to split lessons with another instructor. We have 100-120 students right now and are going to begin bringing in more. Job intails weekly lessons, 40 horses in rotation, trimming, keeping lesson horses legged up. On site living facility available. Pay based on experience and amount of lessons to be taught. Help with events and summer camps. Pay $7-$10 per lesson. Training for outside clients will be paid extra.
