All-Around Show Barn seeking a full-time employee. Would prefer someone with a strong western background and the following skills:
- Blanketing/Unblanketing
- Lunging
- Tacking/Untacking
- Foot Care
- Equine First-Aid Knowledge
- Turn-out/Turn-in
- Medication Administration
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Attention to Detail
- Basic Riding Ability/Knowledge- Accomplished Riding Skills
- Beginning Instruction Experience
MUST:
- Enjoy working with students/horses
- Be interested in personal growth through working with horses
- Have interest in creating young leaders through working with horses
- Understand horse safety
- Be able to take constructive critcism and communicate responsibly
- Be timely and have a strong work ethic
Job will entail supporting the head trainer in daily barn operations. May expand to be a travelling position to horse shows for the right candidate. Riding opportunities available for the right candidate. Teaching opportunities available for the right candidate.
Health Insurance offered after 1 year. Paid Vacation offered after one year. Bonuses Available to the right candidate. Housing available after June 1 for the right candidate. Temporary housing can be arranged prior to June 1.
