Horse Farm Manager/Trainer Responsibilities:

  • Expand lesson program
  • Work with several OTTB's to show, lease, sell, use for lessons, etc.
  • advertising using social media, flyers, sinage, etc.
  • Manage and prioritize daily chores and notify proper people for repairs, supplies, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • "A" show experience with Hunter/Jumpers
  • At least TEN (10) years riding experience after the age of 18.
  • Experience galloping race horses
  • Currently riding and able to ride anything
  • Experience teaching riding lessons

Full-time, Salary or Commission

Compensation: $30,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year (the amounts include accommodations for horse and rider)

Requirements
  • "A" show experience with Hunter/Jumpers
  • At least ten (10) years riding experience after the age of 18.
  • Experience galloping race horses
  • Currently riding and able to ride anything
  • Experience teaching riding lessons
  • Ability to administer medicines both IM & IV, recognize illness and have basic first-aid knowledge.
  • Applicants must possess a good command of math, business, writing skills, and use proper English. (Your resume' should exemplify this)

Small apartment in main house with shared kitchen to start. No pets. The initial space is for one person only, no significant others or children. Farm has other larger accommodations and hired trainer will have the opportunity to "move-up" as a bonus after a successful year.
