Horse Caretaker Assistant: Responsible for assisting manager with the welfare of owner and customer horses under Goose Creek Polo in Upperville VA; including but not limited to assisting with first aid, shipping out and receiving horses, working with vet and farrier, keeping the barns clean and tidy, cleaning run in sheds, therapy for owner/client horses as needed, possibly riding sets to bring horses back into work for an upcoming season, helping taking care of injured horses in barn and cleaning stalls for those in the barn. Schedule: 6 days/week, 7:00 – 4:00 pm unless, on hot days, manager chooses to start earlier or leave longer gap midday. Some days may be longer according to needs of horses.
