Seeking confident, competent, compassionate groom/barn manager to care for 2 competitive dressage horses and owner's retired horses. Must have at least two years experience grooming/working with quality dressage or eventing facility. This is a low stress operation where correct training and horse welfare are the priorities. Qualified candidate must be incredibly reliable and trustworthy. This is a family operation, and we don't ask anyone to do anything we don't do ourselves. Perfect opportunity for working student/groom looking to move up to head groom/assistant barn manager position or someone who has been in a big, busy program looking to move into something slower paced with fewer horses. Competitive pay - weekly during initial trial period, monthly salary for successful candidate. Training opportunities with regular clinicians on farm.
Requirements
Confident riding ability through second level preferred but not required, excellent ground handling skills required.

Job Benefits

Premier facility with 6 stall show barn, 8 stall guest barn, indoor/outdoor arenas on 600+ acre farm. Amateur owner with competitive dressage horses. Small horse numbers, host clinics/events. Not a boarding facility.
