Requirements
Detailed description above - seeking someone who can serve as a key "anchor" employee to truly run the farm.We are happy to train you, and have planned overlap with current staff to ensure a smooth transition. While we attempted the job description, you know how farm work goes.It may be coordinating and receiving a shavings or hay delivery, an unexpected call to the vet or farrier for an emergency - basically, we are looking for someone who can run the place independently.Ethics and a background check are important to us as we also have some students/teens that can fill in and work part time when available summers and breaks. We will need an I-9 and/or work authorization documentation.Owners live on property and are happy to problem solve or pitch in when needed, we just need some flexibility so we're not taking care of horses all day every day! We can negotiate pay and terms for the right candidate depending on experience. We know that God will bring us the right fit! Check out our website www.briarcreekfarm.com

Help needed on small farm. We have 11 stalls and 35 acres. Tasks include bringing horses in/turning out, feeding them, cleaning stalls, general horse care. It would be 3-4 evenings per week (usually 3 hours to turn out and do stalls). Morning shift can be done in about an hour. We have two other PT people, so schedule/days are negotiable. We have an ethical environment, newer barn, and a drama free group of people.
