Small, well-maintained private barn in Leesburg, VA (near Costco/Target area) seeking a reliable and experienced barn manager.

This is a flexible role with autonomy during the day. You will be responsible for morning and evening chores while having flexibility to structure your daytime schedule.

Barn houses 12–14 horses, with involved boarders who assist in care.

Responsibilities:

• Feeding (grain/hay) and monitoring intake
• Administering oral and minor medications as needed
• Turnout and bring-in
• Blanket changes and fly spray application
• Daily injury and wellness checks
• Stall cleaning and general barn upkeep
• Maintaining overall barn organization and cleanliness

Requirements:

• Solid horsemanship and horse care knowledge
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Ability to work independently

Ideal candidate takes ownership of the barn, notices issues early, and keeps daily operations running smoothly.
