Flat Rider Position

North Run is in search of a Flat Rider to join the team whether just for the summer months or full-time.

The job entails but is not limited to the daily exercise of horses. this candidate will be required to ride client horses that range from hunters, jumper to equitation horses. Advanced flat work skills are encouraged before applying.

We focus on having a positive team that has fun with a great group of clients and are looking for someone that is equally as motivated and interested in working alongside one other.

Although your main job will be to ride, we also expect everyone to work as a team and help out when they may not be doing their primary job. This will likely involve helping assist at the show ring when needed, working alongside the barn manager with managerial duties, as well as helping with some barn activities such as lunging, assisting potential vet visits, etc.

North Run is a hunter/jumper barn that travels up and down the east coast, Canada, and Europe. We base at our home farm in Wellington during the winter months, and our home base in Warren, VT during the summer and fall.
