Work with an enthusiastic staff teaching children from 7-15 how to ride. Help manage 8-10 staff and 23-26 horses in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont.
Located in Vermont's Green Mountains, "The Windridge Experience" is unique among children's summer camps. We incorporate highly specialized tennis, soccer and horseback riding programs within the traditional framework of a rural New England camp setting.
Riding has been taught at Windridge at Teela-Wooket since 1913 and today’s campers can enjoy a range of mounted activities. The emphasis in the riding program is on fun, safety, and horsemanship. Daily lessons may include pony club games, dressage, hunt seat equitation, hunter trials, show jumping, and trail riding through the beautiful mountains of Vermont.
Twenty-three leased horses are housed in our spacious barn. We have four outdoor riding rings, including our Grass Ring for dressage, Sand Rings for jumping, and our indoor Arena for a variety of mounted activities. We also have riding trails on camp.
