Instructor/Wranglers and or Student Ride Internship Positions: (part-time)

We are a private ranch that teaches youth & adults horseback riding and how to train horses.

Wrangler/Instructor & assistant teach students during lessons, clinics, or during the summer programs. Will also work with the horses with caring, feeding & barn attendant etc.

Intern Positions: Horseback & Ranch Assistant Instructor

  • No horseback riding experience necessary, and training will be provided.
  • Help assist lead instructor, care for horses, and help in riding programs.

Immediate Position for: Wrangler/Lead or Assistant Instructor

  • Teaching mainly youth from Beginner to Advance.
  • Keeping all equipment, the stables, arena, horse pens, and help keep supplies organized and in good repair, care for the horses. (Training will be required for all positions)

Immediate position for: Wrangler/Lead or Assistant Instructor

  • Paid position if qualified after the training period.
  • If need more training, we will recommend our (Intern Ride Program)
  • Wrangler/Instructors need to have extensive horseback riding, be in excellent physical condition, and ability to perform barn chores. Previous experience with: Western horseback riding, horse training, Cow work, Barrel, Poles, is a plus!

Intern Riding Positions: Horseback & Ranch Assistant Instructor

  • Riding Intern Position: Training will be provided when you volunteer along with your lessons. (Number of hours & training will vary with each person)
  • Students that qualify for the program and meet hours required each month: riding/discounts will be applied for next month’s lesson & ride times.
  • Certain # of lessons required during trial period, after qualified student-intern will earn discounts toward lessons or practice rides.

Some Expectations

  • Prefer applicant lives within 30-40 min from ranch.
  • Be available 2-3 times per week, 2 Sat/month a.m., 1-2 Friday/month p.m.
  • Be available 2-4 times per month help horses and barn attendant
  • Applicants must be physically fit, be very dedicated, and hard working.
  • Part of the summer (June & early July) weekdays (Usually morning till early afternoon).

Paid Positions Requirements:

  • Applicants will need to fill out an application & come to M&M Ranch for a personal interview/trial before summer program starts. Video submission may be required of applicant riding experience.
  • Part of the interview will be working with the horses, students & lessons. If more training is needed, we will let you know after the trial period. All Trainings are done on your own time.
  • (Age 18+) CPR & First Aide Certification Required prior start of employment.
