Instructor/Wranglers and or Student Ride Internship Positions: Non-paid
We are a private ranch that teaches youth & adults horseback riding and how to train horses.
#Adult Intern Student Program:
An opportunity to receive discounts for lessons/riding to those that qualify. This position is great for someone who wants to enhance their skills with horses and is unable to afford the cost of riding/leasing a horse.
#Some of Schedule Requirements:
- Be available - 1-2 Friday/month (evening) & 2 Sat/month in a.m.
- Weekday schedule varies, allowing some flexibility. Ask more details Intern/Wrangler/Instructor & assistant teach students during lessons (part-time year- round), clinics, or during the summer programs.
Intern Positions: Horseback & Ranch Assistant Instructor
- No horseback riding experience necessary, and training will be provided.
- Help assist lead instructor, care for horses, and help in riding programs.
- Teaching mainly youth/adults from Beginner to Advance.
- Keeping all equipment, the stables, arena, horse pens, and help keep supplies organized and in good repair, care for the horses. Training will be required for all positions

Requirements
Intern Riding Positions: Horseback & Ranch Assistant Instructor
- Riding Intern Position: Training will be provided when you volunteer along with your lessons. (Number of hours & training will vary with each person)
- Students that qualify for the program and meet hours required each month: riding/discounts will be applied for next month’s lesson & ride times.
- Certain # of lessons required during trial period, after qualified student-intern will earn discounts toward lessons or practice rides.
- Prefer applicant lives within 30-40 min from ranch.
- Be available 2 Sat/month a.m., 1-2 Friday/month p.m.
- Be available 2-4 times per month help horses and barn attendant
- Additional work available Weekday mornings (summer)
- And 1-2 morning help lessons/horses (year-round)
- Applicants must be physically fit, be very dedicated, and hard working.
- Part of the summer (June & early July) weekdays (Usually morning till early afternoon).
