ReeLee Reststarting and Training is a private training and rehab facility located in Chalfont, PA. We have recently filled our paid position but do have availability for a working student or two. Work would include but may not be limited to;
Bringing pastured horses in for feeding, and turning them back out
Feeding Outside Horses, ducks, and goats
Checking water (topping of and cleaning if necessary)
Checking over every horse for any medical or first-aid needs
Feeding and checking water for other farm animals (goats and ducks)
Turning all horses back out after feeding
Picking feed stalls
Cleaning stalls (if we have any actively rehabbing horses, or in march/april broodmare comes in at night a month before and after foaling)
Picking outside pens (if in use)
Blowing/Sweeping Barn
General Barn Tidying and Organization
General Farm Chores
In exchange for working, the opportunity for Riding time/Instruction in horsemanship and training techniques (we specialize in starting/foundation training, and problem solving in mustangs, horses heading to the racetrack, and recreational horses) would be available. As well as learning about post surgical rehabilitation when we have rehab cases, and gentling and starting wild mustangs.
Some Other Examples of Learning Opportunities
Potential to compete in desired discipline on any of our horses you fit with could also be a possibility. Endurance Racing Western Disciplines (can help with instruction/coaching) English (we have horses that are capable but less coaching available)
Potential to help with future Sale Horses and get a commission may be available to the right candidate.

She has worked under top trainers across several disciplines around the world, and in 2015, established ReeLee Restarting and Training LLC. Since that time, ReeLee has become a highly regarded and trusted place for physical and mental rehabilitation, training, and starting of horses across breeds, disciplines, and backgrounds. Kelsey is also Mustang Heritage Foundation TIP Certified.
