Located in Pennsylvania’s beautiful Pocono Mountains, Island Lake Camp is a coed sleep-away camp established in 1986. We feature a 4-week and a 3-week session for our campers who range in age from 7-17. At Island Lake, we emphasize individualized programming to allow each camper to have their ideal summer experience.
Our counselors live in a comfortable, modern cabin with approximately 12 campers and two other counselors. Each of our bunk counselors is also a specialist who teaches in one of the 17 different Departments offered at Island Lake. We provide full room and board, including snacks, meals, laundry service, and travel reimbursement for everyone traveling to camp.
Currently, we are looking for individuals with a passion for Horseback. When you are not in your cabin with your campers, you will be in our barn working with and caring for our Horses to provide a safe and secure learning environment for our campers.
