Bryn Mawr Riding Camp is seeking group leaders for the summer of 2023!
Bryn Mawr Riding Camp's facilities include a beautiful 50 acre farm with 40 stalls, 5 outdoor riding arenas, an indoor arena, acres of trails, a cross country course, and several paddocks for turnout. Bryn Mawr Riding Camp is an all-girls sleepaway camp located in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
The Group Leaders' most important responsibility is to maintain the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our riding campers. This includes reviewing information prior to each camper’s arrival and being familiar with camper issues, needs, allergies, and other important information. Group leaders will help to greet campers and parents on arrival and departure days. They will also be responsible for establishing campers’ goals for their time at camp. Group leaders help to plan and execute evening activities and special events throughout the summer. On a daily basis, they also teach riding and/or on the ground lessons lessons 2 to 3 periods per day.
Preferred applicants are currently enrolled in college or a college graduate. 21+, must be female. Must have valid drivers license. Must be available May 31st through August 11th.
Leadership members will utilize and improve their skills in staff management and riding instruction as well as have an opportunity to ride and take lessons while employed.
Salary as well as housing, meals, and travel stipend are provided.
