About The Facility: Bryn Mawr Riding Camp accommodates 40 horses from The University of Findlay and Centenary University each summer on its beautiful 50 acre farm. The facilities include 40 stalls, an indoor riding arena, 5 outdoor arenas, acres of trails, and a cross country course.
Job Description: The Barn Manager’s main responsibility is to oversee and maintain the daily care of our 40 horses. This includes seeing that they all have adequate grooming, feed, water, and bedding on a daily basis. The barn manager will also keep careful farrier and medical records, and help to schedule appointments for each horse. They will see to each horse’s individual nutritional needs, and weight tape/make feed adjustments to keep them at a healthy weight. They will also keep track of any medications, and treat any injuries/lameness issues as needed. They will ensure that each horse has properly fitting and well maintained tack and equipment. The barn manager teaches lessons on a daily basis, and does night check 4 days per week.
Dates for 2019: Leadership must be available from May 31st through August 9th.
Members of Riding Leadership team will live in modern cabins with other members of camp leadership
