EXPERIENCED RIDER/TRAINER
Very active sales/lesson barn in NC is looking to add a specific type of member to our team! We are looking for someone who:
- Is proficient with both green & finished horses
- Is Confident and capable with ground work
- Has a SOLID dressage background ( schooling minimum 3rd level )
- Is efficient over fences with both green & finished horses
- Enjoys showing
- Able to take direction & works well with others.
- Is fit enough to school 5 to 7 horses per day.
( this is a riding position, no stalls )
Salary, Housing , Bonuses included. • plus if someone would like to teach a few lessons a week but not a dealbreaker. .
Possibility of continuing education for highly ambitious person.
References & videos (flat & over-fences) required to apply.
No drama, drugs, drunks will be tolerated !

I've worked at this farm for a while now and am shocked at how much I've already learned. If you are looking for a place with an opportunity to expand your experience working with horses on a daily basis, both in hand as well as riding, then you'll really enjoy a position here! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and between lessoning with her and participating in the monthly clinics, this is an amazing opportunity for a serious equestrian. I am so grateful to have found Folklore Farm!
