We are looking for a full time or part time barn manager who is responsible, self motivated and a knowledgeable horse person to be part of our team. We need someone to manage our 10 stall AA hunter/jumper barn. Duties will include daily feeding and chore shifts (turnout, stall cleaning, etc.), night checks, blanketing, laundry, dragging the arena, mowing, ordering feed and shavings, billing and any other duties that are part of the routine at a AA Show and Boarding barn. Some riding may be available dependent on the candidates level of riding. Possible housing and pasture board may be available (for one well behaved horse.) depending on the right candidate. Salary based on experience.
Requirements
You must be patient and kind to the horses and staff. You must have plenty of experience working with horses, and be willing to work in a professional show barn atmosphere. We are willing to train the right person as long as you have a strong work ethic, good attitude and dependable.
