Odysseia Stables is operating for 25 years in equestrian tourism offering high quality holidays which are sold through the leading horse travel agencies. We are looking for a good riding level, friendly people’s person, safety responsible, independent working, service minded, rider who is happy to join in a team of 10 persons. Healthy fit condition with weight limit of 80 kilo. European passport, English language and preferably 2nd language. Full time, 6 days a week.
Most of the horses being used in our program have been born here as have their mothers and grandmothers. Nearly all have been sired by cutting or reining, million dollar sires such as Wimpys Little Step, Gallo Del Cielo, SG Frozen Enterprize, Others have been sired by up and coming producing stallions such as Yellow Jersey, Starjac Vintage, & Wranglin In Chex. We do not train nor board outside horses & are also involved in an equine jobs for youth program.

Experienced Passionate Person to Care for our Horses in Ocala, Florida and then Travel to Georgetown, Massachusetts in May. Must be able to put turnout boots on as well as polos and night bandages. In addition, resp. incl. tacking up for dressage and jumping. Must be able to work until mid November. Riding opportunities if experienced in solid basic dressage and jumping skills. STUD GROOM POSITION The Old Berkshire Hunt require a stud groom for the season 24 / 25. This is a permanent position which comes with on site accommodation with all bills included. We are seeking a talented applicant to oversee our riding program with 8 horses for the summer. Excellent compensation package with travel stipend. Room and board included. Employment from mid-June to mid-August.
Full time, temporary INTERNSHIP for busy hunter/jumper training and breeding facility. Job is 6 days a week, with 1 week day off. Breeding season hours are dictated solely by the mares. Candidate must clearly understand that. It is an incredible opportunity to for hands on learning.

Duties include:
Most of what happens during breeding season occurs after dusk and before dawn. Therefore, candidate must be confident in her ability to stay awake through the wee hours.
Daily barn duties: Feeding, water, turnout, occasional light stall mucking, general cleaning. Grooming and tacking, setting jumps. Possible opportunity to ride SOLELY depending on ability.
Stipend is $400/mo.
Please do not ask for more. The hands on experience you will gain, you can not begin to buy for that price.
Once the paid internship is filled, I do sometimes have housing for an additional unpaid intern.
Possible unpaid part-time internship options for local students.
This can usually be used as a for credit internship with your college.
Applicants must be comfortable working around and handling strong young warmbloods. Applicants must be be able to lift at least 50lbs comfortably and be fit enough for daily walking in hot weather. Must be height - weight appropriate as this is a physically demanding job.
