Private client-focused Hunter/Jumper show barn looking for a professional barn manager splitting time between Katonah, NY and Wellington, FL.

Job Duties:

-Manage full staff of grooms and ensure tasks are being performed to a high standard

• Manage all grooms weekly schedule and daily tasks
• Organize all ordering and deliveries of essential items at home and at shows
• Schedule and assist with vet and farrier
• Keep detailed records for all horses including but not limited to- vet/farrier/bodywork/dentist/vaccine records/coggins
• Keep feed room organized and ensure we have all necessary meds and supplements; make grain at home and at shows
• Attend shows in the Northeast and manage setting up/tearing down with groom staff
• Manage the schedule at shows and ensure that all horses come to the ring on time with appropriate equipment
• Pack and organize all items that need to go to shows and manage items going back and forth from NY to FL.
• Travel to Wellington ~Nov- April and manage all horses show and home schedules
• Keep track of tack and equipment needs for all horses and order what is needed at home and at the shows
• Night check at home and at shows

Must have a valid drivers license and own mode of transportation. Must be professional with the clients and have great communication skills.

Competitive salary commensurate on experience. Ability to work as a W2'd employee or 1099, based on preference. Paid time off for all employees.

Riding can be an option but not a part of main job requirements.
